It will fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane. It is made of various textures of nylon and features a well-padded laptop sleeve. There are varied reviews, with some customers stating that the backpack is heavy, the zippers are cheaply made and often come off track, the seams have started to unravel after only a dozen or so flights and backpack is not as well-organized as they had hoped.
