Answer: No. The remote controls for my three ceiling lights are not that strong to penetrate the partition wall to interfere others in rooms either at side or right above. -

Answer: I had two lights in my kitchen before, took both down and replaced with this light... It is very bright, able to see in all the cupboards but can also dim it down for a more relaxed atmosphere. I love the colours on it as well. -
