The Visionis FPC-5191 Indoor Electromagnetic Lock is a well-made product that is easy to wire up and install, with dimensions of Magnet - (L)210 x (W)35 x (T)21 mm or -(L)8.26 x (W)1.37 x (T)0.82 Inch and Armature:- (L)130 x (W)33 x (T)11 mm or -(L)5.11 x (W)1.29 x (T)0.43 Inch. It requires cables and a power supply, and draws 7.2 watts of power. The lock does not have residual magnetism when power is off. It can be used for an inswinging door, but it's hard to know if it will work for a home elevator door without seeing the set-up. The product is made in Malaysia and does not come with a fob to open the door. However, customer reception has been mixed. One customer had a great experience with easy installation, while another experienced issues with the magnet becoming defective with an internal short after 8 months of use. One customer received no directions and the product never worked.
