VDP Overhead Consoles Editorial Review
The Vertically Driven Products VDP 31700 Overhead Shelf is a convenient storage solution for Jeep owners. It is easy to install and adds extra storage space to the vehicle. The installation process is simple, with brackets that need to be bolted to the item and then attached to the roll bars using four Velcro straps. It can be installed in minutes, even with a hard top in place. One of the advantages of this overhead shelf is its location, which is super-convenient for accessing items while driving. It eliminates the need to look back or reach into the center Console for frequently used items. The shelf can hold small objects such as gloves, beanies, and sunglasses. However, it is important to note that the storage space provided by this shelf is limited. It may not be suitable for those looking for a larger storage solution. Some customers found that it was smaller than they had imagined and could only fit sunglasses. In terms of compatibility, the shelf fits Jeep models such as the 2002 TJ and the Gladiator. However, there were mixed reviews regarding its compatibility with specific models. Some customers reported that it did not fit their vehicles adequately. Overall, the Vertically Driven Products VDP 31700 Overhead Shelf is a handy addition to a Jeep interior. It provides extra storage space for small items that need to be easily accessible. The installation process is quick and straightforward, making it a convenient solution for Jeep owners.
