This oboe is a professional performance level instrument for orchestras made from composite wood that weighs 0.63kg. It does not include reeds. The low registers were found to be defective on one purchased oboe, which was replaced with a newer and better quality product. Some customers found defective or bent key linkages and poor quality pads, with one customer noting a repair bill of about $650 to fix it.
