Optimus Cooking Utensils 8018907 Editorial Review
### Optimus Clip-On Windshield The Optimus Clip-On Windshield has garnered positive feedback from customers who appreciate its design and functionality, particularly for use with smaller cooking pots and stoves. Many users have noted its effectiveness in blocking wind, which significantly contributes to improved boiling efficiency and fuel savings during outdoor cooking. Crafted with a spring clip mechanism, this windshield securely attaches to the neck of various butane canisters, providing stability even in windy conditions. The snug fit it offers around prescribed pot sizes, like the Optimus Terra Weekend HE and various Toaks models, ensures that it does not take up much space in a backpack, making it an excellent companion for both car camping and lighter excursions. Users frequently appreciated how it can be nested inside pots for compact storage. While the windshield has shown impressive performance in various conditions, some feedback indicates that its effectiveness diminishes with larger cooking pots or stoves, particularly those that exceed recommended compatible sizes. It may also not be as suitable for backpackers prioritizing extreme weight savings, as it is noticeably heavier than alternatives like aluminum foil windscreens. Overall, the Optimus Clip-On Windshield appears to be a solid investment for those looking for reliable wind protection in their outdoor cooking setups, especially when coupled with the right equipment. ###
