Starkey 2.4 GHz TV Streamer
The Starkey 2.4 GHz TV Streamer is a device that pairs with compatible 2.4 GHz hearing aids on the Thrive platform. The TV streamer is easy to set up and operate by simply placing the hearing aids within 15cm, or 6 inches from the TV Streamer and pressing the Bluetooth button on the TV device. It is compatible with Starkey Livio Edge AI, Livio AI and Livio hearing aids. Customers with Livio Edge AI 2400 hearing aids reported that it was perfect and the sound quality was like a great set of headphones. Customers can use the thrive app to set up a “gesture” (tap) on one of your hearing aids that will turn the stream reception on or off. However, there were reports that the streaming volume was not high enough to hear anything and it was a complete waste of money. The product will drop the signal if you walk more than about 35 feet from the device or if you pause the sound for more than a couple of minutes.
