However, it has some temperature fluctuation issues and a small hopper capacity that requires frequent refilling for long smoking sessions, and it can be expensive for what it does. The sliding plate for searing steaks is an added bonus. This product does not come with a cover, so you will have to purchase it separately. Many customers recommend using an insulated blanket and installing a gasket around the door to make it more efficient. To clean out the ash, you will have to remove the grates and use a vacuum cleaner hose. The pellets last for a long time depending on the heat and outside temperature, and the unit maintains temperature well. One downside to this product is that it leaks a little at the door.
