RubiPro KVM Switches Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** The HDMI KVM Switch for dual monitors and computers has garnered a diverse range of feedback from users, showcasing both its strengths and some areas of concern. Many customers have highlighted its seamless installation process and solid connection, reporting excellent performance when switching between devices. Users appreciate the zero lag and quick response time, allowing for efficient multitasking—particularly important for professionals working from home, such as nurses who need to manage patient records. The compact design is another plus, as it minimizes desk clutter while providing additional USB ports for peripherals. Compatibility with multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Mac, and Linux, has also been praised, making it a versatile tool for various users. However, some customers have pointed out significant issues related to EDID support. Users have experienced disruptions with monitor layouts when switching computers, leading to frustration. The KVM switch often fails to retain window configurations, and for experienced users, this behavior contradicts the expected functionality of EDID. As usage continues, some have reported performance degradation, including noticeable delays in keyboard and mouse response, which undermines productivity. While the build quality of the switch is generally appreciated, the reported failure of EDID functionality and delays may deter potential buyers looking for a reliable KVM solution. Overall, this KVM switch seems to work effectively for many users, but those reliant on maintaining monitor layouts may face challenges that could outweigh its benefits. **
