The collection itself is well-made and looks good on any shelf. The anime series is melancholic, wicked, and brutal, but still breathtakingly beautiful. The 8-movie collection offers excellent value for money, and the absence of any print on the single covers makes them perfect for use as posters. While being part of the 'nasuverse' and produced by ufotable will naturally draw comparisons to Fate/Zero and Unlimted Blade Works, Garden Of Sinners is better than either of those in almost every way. The story is captivating, and the depth of the setting is remarkable. Fans of the series should watch it in release order, although the story is more accessible when watched chronologically.
